Directions to rue du Noyer 226

By Public Transport:

Starting at: Gare Centrale (closest train station):

Look for the Metro signs (A blue letter M) and look for the lines 1A or 1B, direction ‘Herrmann-Debroux’ or ‘Stockel’. They both go the same direction as you are only going three stops to Schuman
Get off at Schuman and exit towards R. Justus Lipsius. You come out by a roundabout, so look for rue Archimede – It has the large covered EU building on the corner on your left and a bus stop with a kiosk where you go next.
Take Bus 21 or 28 towards NATO or Konkel and get out at Gueux (2 stops) or go by foot up the road until you get to the junction where you take the second right, rue Franklin, and go right up that street.
At the end of the street it opens out to a junction where you turn sharp left and this is rue du Noyer.

By Car

Starting at the ferry/shuttle:

Head for the E40 motorway. There are signs to Brussels and Gent all over the place. Keep going until you reach Brussels. It takes around 4 hours.

When you hit Brussels you come in from the north and keep on that road towards the city centre, until you see the cathedral. Get in the lane that takes you into the tunnel beside the cathedral and drive through it.

Stay in this tunnel lane until you see the signs for Arts-Loi on the overhead board, because you exit here.

Look for signs for Institutions Européennes, which will be a turning to your right called rue Belliard.

On this road stay in the right hand lane and pass by the tunnel on your left. Go straight over the traffic lights up the hill to he junction at the top.

Turn left here and you will hit a roundabout at the end of the road. Get in the right hand lane and take the second exit, rue Archimède. If you pass the big, covered EU building on your right you have gone too far, as this should be on your left.

At the next junction take the second right called rue Franklin (remember to give way to the right).and go right to the end of it where it widens out to traffic lights.

Turn sharp left into rue du Noyer and 226 is on the right about 4 houses down from the Newsagent
